Product Overview: Lumen A2A Gateway is the runtime policy decision point and policy enforcement point for AI agent intent. It discovers agents and resources with risk scores, microsegments them into PeerGroups, evaluates every MCP and A2A interaction against Smart Policies, and inspects content inline over ICAP (RFC 3507), with SPIFFE-based agent identity and federated IAM. No agent is re-coded and no application authorization is reworked.
